Why do I receive texts from WordPress security all day long?

Keep getting texts from WordPress security with new codes. I would like the code I enter to last at least a month.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Texts come in on cell phone several times a day from WordPress with different security codes. I checked off, keep for 30 days.

That’s strange. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance because I do not know how to help you. Another Volunteer may answer prior to Staff but I tagged the thread so it will not fall through the cracks and escape attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

You’re welcome Sara. I’m sorry but Staff have a considerable backlog of threads tagged for their attention.They work through them in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps by working their way forward from the earliest to the most recent.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread here again by posting into it because it’s not in your best interest to post to it again after it has been tagged for Staff help. Thread bumping moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.

I have done this several times, but am still getting texts on my phone all day long.

Could you try resetting your password? While unlikely, it may be that someone is trying to log in as you. Resetting your password should stop the logins.
You could also try switching to the authenticator app. But generally I find that SMS is a better way to use two step authentication.
