why do i show up myself in my own contact form?

  when i add the contact form, inserted into my webpage, my personal email shows up on the page for all to see. can you tell me why it is doing that and how i can stop that? thanks so much!

  Hi. I don’t see a contact form on your site, so I guess you removed it. Are you referring to the fact that the contact form is already pre-filled with your name, email and website? That’s because you are logged in. Log out and go back to the site and you’ll see what other people see.

  @cleavingtochrist, WordPress has set cookies on your computer and when you go to the contact form, logged in or logged out, WordPress knows who you are by the cookie and will fill that information in for you.

  If you log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then visit your site (not logged in) you will see what others will see, which are blank fields.
