Why do I sometimes lose the space between paragraphs when my post is published?

  When I post, sometimes I lose space between paragraphs and sometimes I don’t and I can’t figure out why that is. You can see an example of that on my most recent post. When I write the post, there are space between the paragraphs but when I publish the post, many times I lose those spaces. It seems arbitrary.

  Hi there,

  You may be losing space between paragraphs due to whether or not you are holding down shift when you are pressing enter. If you hold down shift you are creating a hard return, which will remain no matter what formatting is applied. If you do not, then depending on the formatting which is applied by the theme, the paragraph spacing may not remain!
