Why do I still see wordpress.com in my URL?

  Hello, I bought a domain name from Namecheap and set up URL forwarding through them. When I Google my website, I still see http://matrilamb.wordpress.com. Is there any way to get rid of this other than by paying for mapping through WordPress?

  Also, I want to set up an email address through my website. Is this possible with a third-party domain name?

  No, there is no way of getting rid of this other than paying for mapping. Yes, it’s possible to set up email forwarding with a custom mapped domain.

  When I go to My Domains, I still see (email visible only to moderators and staff) instead of matrilamb.com, and there is no edit link. How do I set up the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email?
