Why do my blog posts appear as Photos when they go from WP to Twitter to a FB page?

I am not very tech savvy but I try. I have set up a publicize link for blog posts to go to FB and to Twitter. But I also have tweets set to go to my FB page. There is a disconnect somewhere, not sure where, because the bulk of the post is text, but the tweet comes over with a random image embedded in the blog post, and text saying I have shared a photo and people can go to my Twitter page to ‘get more photos’ of mine. I tried checking Twitter settings but there doesn’t seem much I can do there to tweak this. Wondering if the problem is in the way WP and Twitter communicate somehow? If it isn’t something I can solve via WP can you at least point me in a direction? It only seems to be my WP blogposts that have this anomaly.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I would recommend Publicizing directly to Facebook and Twitter and not just Twitter which then sends it to Facebook.

When you are publicizing your posts directly to Facebook, there are certain things you can do to help push the right image to Facebook. Setting the image as your featured image is the main one, but the image choosing is controlled by Facebook.

ok thanks. I was sending them to FB but had some issue awhile ago And rerouted it to my author page rather than my personal Home page. That was working because the posts also came to by Home page via the Twitter route. I will reset the FB link and do the Tweets directly. See if that makes a difference. If not, I will stop the tweets for the WP blog posts only. I tried getting help on Twitter but even their feedback box doesn’t seem to work.
