Why do my “categories” link to some other site

  My blog is at ignitepodcast.wordpress.com The categories under each post do not link to my page the take you to http://wordpress.com/tag/news/ for instance if the category in “News.” Why do the categories do that instead of linking to igniteukpodcast.wordpress.com/category/news/ which is on my blog. This does not make sense can I disable this?

  Please do a search for “global tag pages” as the issue has been covered literally dozens of times before. It’s a fundamental tool for SEO in WordPress and short of the VIP upgrade you cannot disable it as far as I am aware. If you want to learn about the VIP upgrade, do a forum or FAQ search.
