Why do my own links back become "comments"?
-
When I link back to a previous post in my blog, it is listed as a “comment.” How can I stop this?

Hi there,
Can you post an example for when this happens, and describe exactly what is happening? Does this happen when you’re writing a post or after it’s published?
When I click on links in your posts that direct to previous blog posts, everything seems to be working okay (such as clicking on “Puppet Parade” in http://glendablake.com/2013/04/16/unlikely-dance-entry-hall-in-progress/ ), so I’m not sure I understand what you might be seeing.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! It happens when I publish a new post containing a link back to a previous post or a static page — the link works fine, but I get notification (via email, WordPress Mobile, and the upper-right corner comment icon) that I’ve received a comment from the post I referenced, and they end up awaiting approval/trash/spam decisions on my Comments log.
