Why do my pictures say 100% loaded but not show up in text?

I’m having issues getting my photos to show up in my text. They say 100% loaded, but that doesn’t go away and the pictures don’t actually show up. I load pictures all the time so I know it’s not on my end and I’ve tried refreshing and starting over several times.

I didn’t end up posting because the images weren’t appearing, but I can send you the photos? How would I send those to you?

Hi there. I actually need to look at something you’ve created in order to troubleshoot the issue for you. I need to determine where the problem is taking place during your process, and looking at individual files won’t help me out quite yet.
Let’s begin with a brand new image. It can be a temporary image that you don’t plan to publish. It’s just a test.
The first thing I’d like you to try is to go to your Dashboard and click Media → Library. Click Add New. Upload the new image to your Media Library. Once you see that it is 100% loaded, in the left-hand column, click Media → Library, and see if the image has been added to your library. If it has, please move onto the next step. If it hasn’t, please let me know.
If the Media upload worked, click Posts → Add New in the left-hand side bar of your Dashboard. Create a post called Test Post. Add some text into the box and then click the Add Media button. In the “Insert Media” window, click on the Media Library tab. Choose the new image you just uploaded and insert it into your post. If that works, please click the button “Save Draft.” Then get back to me, and let me know that there’s something I should look at.
Please let me know if there’s anywhere along the way where you are seeing error messages, where files are not uploading, or you get stuck during the process. Looking forward to getting to the bottom of this issue for you, so you can have full functionality. All the best.
