why do my posts get cut short?

I keep writing posts and putting pictures in and when I come to preview it, half of it has gone. SO I do it again and the same thing happens. I even save draft which makes it all disappear and so I have had to do two separate posts. It is very time consuming, doesn’t look good on the blog and is very frustrating!!

er…. I don’t know! I just go to posts on the left hand side and then add new and then start typing in the box when it comes up! is that the visual editor tab?

It may be. Near the top-right of the text box, there are two tabs: Visual and HTML.
Are you in the Visual tab?

Yes, if you are in visual editing mode, then you should see the images while you are editing the post and previewing should work. Content and images should not disappear when you click the preview button like you described. It’s hard to tell what’s happening on your side without a little more information. Are you copying and pasting any content into the post or are you typing everything in directly and using the Add Image button just above the editor when you add an image? If you are copying and pasting content, it may not be well-formed and could be getting stripped out. That’s just one possibility.
To make sure it’s not a temporary browser glitch, can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and let us know if that fixes the problem for you?
If that doesn’t help, could you please let us know if you have tried testing from more than one browser and what browser and browser versions you have tried?
