Why do my posts get published twice when I try to publish via the API (xmlrpc)?

  I am trying to use the Blogsy app to publish posts to my WordPress.com blog. Every time I do, the post gets published twice. I contacted Blogsy and they told me that it is a server host issue. Why do my posts get published twice when I try to publish via the API (xmlrpc)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This is a server issue. Have you contacted your server host and let them know that your posts get published twice when you try to publish via the API (xmlrpc)? They may have a solution. It could also be a plugin problem but I doubt it. You may want to try to deactivate all of your plugins and see if it continues to happen. If not then this means one of your plugins is causing a problem in the API.

  I just tried doing two test posts, and they were only posted once. I’m not sure if that was a 2-time glitch at the beginning or if it will come back again.

  @tenkuu22 – Thanks for that information.

  I did notice there was a new version of Blogsy released on May 12 – v. 4.2.2 – is this the version you’re using? Also, if there was a problem publishing via the API, you would continue to experience this problem with every post. As it seems to be isolated, it might have been something as simple as losing connection to the internet when you posted.
