Hi there!
I see two entirely different sites:
http://jenanita01.com/ (jenanita01.wordpress.com)
and
http://jayemarie01.com/ (jayemarie01.wordpress.com)
It appears as if the confusion lies in the content on your site. Your site is called “Anita & Jaye Dawes.” These are the settings you’ve created for the site, but you can easily adjust them here, if you wish to separate your identity from your sisters:
https://jenanita01.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.phpSimply adjust the title, to make your own identity independent, then save the changes.
Also, you’ve added your sister’s bio and picture to your sidebar. You can delete that if you’d like:
Click Appearance → Widgets in your Dashboard, and delete the widget that contains your sister’s picture and bio.
If there’s anything else I can help with, to assist you in clarifying your sites, let me know. For instance, you’re both using the same theme: Twenty Ten. This makes your sites look very similar, and might cause confusion for your visitors.
If one of you wants to make an adjustment to the aesthetics of your site, take a look at our theme gallery:
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

thanks for getting back to me, and I know on the surface that our sites seem to be okay and separate. But when one of us comments on the other ones site, it looks for all the world as if we are commenting and liking our own site.
Is this just me, or have we done something wrong? -
Hello!
But when one of us comments on the other ones site, it looks for all the world as if we are commenting and liking our own site. Is this just me, or have we done something wrong?
This was very helpful information, thanks! The issue, in this case, is that you are both using the same account to log into WordPress.com. When you leave comments, they are attributed to your account information, NOT your website. If you want to separate your presence online, you’ll need individual accounts.
Right now, both your sites are registered to jenanita01 (username: anita & jay dawes dawes). My suggestion is that you make the user name “anita dawes” on this account. Your sister will have to create a new WordPress.com account. She doesn’t need to create a new blog, only a new account name.
She can create a new user name by clicking here:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1Because her blog is registered under your name, you’ll have to move her blog to her new account. You can do this by following these instructions:
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Hi thatrobyn,I can appreciate that Jaye needs her own account, but when she tries to follow your instructions, the screen still says its me. Very confusing. Also, we don’t want to change the first account, it’s a joint account and we want to keep it. Jaye doesn’t want to change her user name on her new account either, so is there a solution?Neither of us are PC literate, please help?Anita & Jaye

Hey there Anita and Jaye,
The problem is that when Jaye is trying to create a new account, you’re still logged in. It maybe be that Firefox has saved your login information and it automatically connects to your account when you visit WordPress.com.
Are you sharing a computer? If so, a solution to avoid this problem is for Jaye to log into WordPress.com using a different browser, such as Google Chrome. Here is a link to download Chrome, if you don’t have it on your computer:
https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/If you are using a different computer than you sister, you can have Jaye clear her browser’s cache using the instructions below:
After she does this, she should be able to add her new account without trouble as your login information will be cleared from Firefox, giving her a clean slate.
Also, we don’t want to change the first account, it’s a joint account and we want to keep it. Jaye doesn’t want to change her user name on her new account either, so is there a solution?
A new account would require a new user name. There’s no way around that. User names are unique.
If you don’t want to change your name on your joint account, whenever you comment, your user name (anita & jay dawes dawes) will display. You cannot choose which name to display when you comment, as the system will automatically show your user name. Therein lies the problem: if you don’t want to adjust that user name, it will always appear as if anita & jay dawes dawes have commented collectively.
So, if your sister doesn’t want to create a new account, and you choose to continue using this shared account, your public persona will always be anita & jay dawes dawes.
Neither of us are PC literate, please help?
I wish I could assist further. However, without the creation of a new account, your request isn’t possible.
Please let me know how you’d like to proceed and I can assist further! Thank you, Anita!
