Why do my stats keep Changing?

Hi everyone,
Thank you for the additional reports. I’ve still been unable to reproduce this, but we have seen a handful of users report the same issue. For those that are experiencing the issue, could you let me know the following?
- Are you checking the stats from the same device (not laptop and then iPhone) when you notice the discrepancy?
- Is this happening minutes after you first check the stats or hours? I’m trying to gauge a timeframe so I can try to reproduce.
Also, if anyone is able to catch a screenshot of this occurring with a timestamp of sorts (so we can organize them chronologically), that would be very helpful!

1. Yes to same device.
2. For me, it’s minutes.It seems to be sporadic. The last dozen times I refreshed, the numbers didn’t change. I’ll screenshot it when it happens again.

1) Same Device – PC mostly – have seen it also with Android App, within the App – – a couple of times different between devices but normally don’t compare devices
2) A few minutes probably 10 at the most – can’t remember on the hours
Keep in mind it is not 100% of the time so tough to reproduce – just hitting the refresh key does not guarantee that the stats will jump – I used to do software programming so I suspect this is one of those really suck to find since there are so many places things can go bump in code like the stats – Good luck

Yes, same device – although I have seen it happen on my laptop and (separately) on the Android app.
As with the others, it tends to be minutes rather than hours.

Yes, the last few days, same issue, from my pc, and there is a fluctuation every few minutes.

Mine too, on my mac and on my iPhone app. The views go up then down on both. Sometimes the little bar at the top showing the average hourly views showed a view then it didn’t. It’s been like it over the last few days.

I have noticed this too. When I log in, one set of numbers is showing. If I refresh the page, a new set of numbers shows up. But if I log out and then log back in again, on the same device (laptop), the first set of numbers is showing again.

It could be the result of an inadvertent quantum encounter between parallel worlds that have only minor discrepancies between them, reflecting the flux in stats.

I’ve noticed a similar thing recently. Today is even more odd. Views seem right at 420+ but visitors are staying at 0 or 1. Visitors were up to 280+ earlier, and on Google Analytics it currently says 286 uniques.
These fluctuations have occurred on one machine and sometimes, over last couple of days, the uniques have been 300+ one minute and 200+ the next.
