Why do my subpages do not appear under the Parent page

  My subpages do not appear under the Parent page. I had set up my subpages, Cityscapes/Landscapes, Figurative/People….to be under the parent page, Portfolio. After I refresh, they still appear as individual pages not under Portfolio. I had gone into Page Attributes to set that up. And had made sure that each page is publish publicly.

  Is it because the theme that I’m using doesn’t support subpages with Parent page? Should I switch over to a different theme?

  Hello there!

  It sounds as if you’re referring to the site’s main menu. If you’d like to make adjustments to the way menu items and sub-menu items behave, you can set up a custom menu:
