why do my upcoming events display in the wrong time zone?

  Calendar times are correct, but are not in correct time zone when displayed on upcoming event widget

  Our WordPress online site is experiencing the same problem. It was working correctly and then it changed suddenly. The problem appears that it may be effecting only the times listed as PM.

  I deleted the widget and reinstalled. I deleted the calendar entries and made new entries. I verified the Google calendar’s time zone. Some of the upcoming events’ displayed times still do not agree with the times in my calendar. The embedded Calender however displays all the correct times. WordPress PLEASE help.

  So, as you can probably tell, there is something amiss with the Upcoming Events widget. We are aware of the issue and are looking into it.

  I’m researching this issue.

  The problem appears that it may be effecting only the times listed as PM.

  Could you look at your calendar and let me know if the only wrong times are for events that were setup as repeating events in your Google calendar?

  @helenpresbyterian, thanks for the confirmation. It seems like it would be something easy to fix, but it’s turning out to be harder than I thought to pinpoint a good solution! I’ll reply back again here as soon as I have more info.

  @fairviewumcbinghamton, I checked http://fairviewumcbinghamton.wordpress.com/ and the times look correct, but the months actually look off to me. Am I reading it right? Would you mind taking a look at the first few upcoming events in the sidebar on http://fairviewumcbinghamton.wordpress.com/ and let me know what dates and times those events should be listed as?

  Also, what calendar program are you using?

  The problem where the upcoming events which it was displaying the wrong time zone four we current event has been fixed.

  If you find any problems going forward, please try completely deleting and then re-adding the recurring event as a first troubleshooting step, and then to reply back here if you’re still having any problems after that.
