Why Do Others Older Post Show Before Mine

I am wondering why x’s post is 3 days old and still on the first tagged page while mine is only 1 day old and I’m 4 pages back?
In my example I do not understand why certain blogs or post stay on top when they are much older while I slide away very quickly. I first thought it might have something to do with replies etc. but nope some of mine have more replies then there’s and are also more current.
Please explain this to me. Seems unfair. What’s the catch?

There are lots of them lol.
It happens in all of them that I use. Look at the sex tag http://wordpress.com/tag/sex/
heres one on the first page from another blogger and its a week old.

http://catherinemarie.wordpress.com is always above mine and on the front page (lots of her post) some are 5 to six days old some a week or more yet mine are hard to find maybe 4 to 5 pages back or so and are only 1 day old.

This is on the front page of the women tag note one user “Catherine Morgan” rules the whole front page no matter how old it is while others get bumped down. Look at the age of these post and the author and how one author is always above others no matter how long ago it was written the others slide back.
This is nothing new with Catherine Morgan and her blog its like this all the time but I dont understand why hers and many others stay on top while newer post from other authors blogs go down down down fast.

Yes, it certainly does look like a blogger suffering from the “tag pollution” syndrome needs some straightening out.
BTW I spotted this person too and I feel exactly the same way you do about tag page spammers http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=7155&replies=25#post-47010
It is possible to use programming to stop these tag spammers from polluting the system.
Please send a feedback into staff and cut and paste your information from above into it. -
I know what tag pollution is but how can that keep a person on top in one single tag? I used the example for the women tag. Tag polution wouldnt keep an author on top of one catagory?
Any other answers?

I believe it’s a combination of tag pollution and another tag page glitch. There have been some reports that may be related. Also there are now 3 other posts on top on the women’s page.

Been noticed before. I would suggest sending in a feedback monday morning and reminding staff that this is still an issue.
