Why do posts not appear in the Reader, on Facebook or e-mail?

  Hello,

  My followers have not been receiving e-mails letting them know of a new post. Also, my blog is no longer appearing in the Reader, and finally it is also not appearing on Facebook. I double-checked to see if I had the settings correct, and they are fine.

  Hi there,

  I have tested the Facebook connection, and it seems to be fine. I also was able to view your most recent post in the Reader: http://cl.ly/image/393E0P1x3Y1B

  It looks like you’ve had these issues before. If you have followers who are not receiving notifications, they may wish to unfollow you and follow you again as macmanx explained a few months ago. If you have email addresses for anyone who should be receiving notifications, I can also confirm that they are actually listed as following your blog on WordPress.com.

  Yes, it had happened before, and as per macmanx suggested, many people unfollowed me and then followed me again and they started getting the e-mails (so the issue seemed resolved). However, for some reason for the last 3 posts notifications were not sent/received. In other words, the same issue as before arose. This has also been the case with Facebook. The settings have not been changed yet sometimes new posts are posted automatically on Facebook and some are not so I have to Share it instead. Where can I send you an e-mail for you to test? I believe this is a public forum.

  Hi itanni,

  Email addresses are automatically redacted (hidden) here if you post them in the proper syntax (in other words, don’t add spaces or truncate them, so the system can recognize them).

  Although I show your connection is working properly, you might try disconnecting your Facebook connection from Publicize and reconnect it.

  Finally, I have followed your blog myself, so when you publish your next post I will be able to see if email notifications are coming through.
