Why do some blogs show WP dashboard and some do not?

When people log into their account for WordPress.com and click ‘My sites’ on the left side of the screen there are various links they can click on and under the ‘settings’ typically there would be a ‘WP-Admin’ but for some people it is not showing (even after they verify their accounts). Why is this happening? Is there a glitch in the system?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The “WP Admin” link was removed from new accounts around October of last year. That WP Admin page can still be accessed by adding “/wp-admin/” to the end of a blog’s URL (ex. somesite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/).

Ok. Thank you. Yes I am aware of adding the wp-admin part to the account once logged in.

Are they planning to completely remove the option in the near future?

In the near future? No. Eventually? Perhaps …

WordPress.com staff have indicated we’ll need WP Admin less and less as functions are added to the new interface: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-dont-see-link-to-wp-admin?replies=17#post-2478371

A developer post suggests that WP Admin may eventually go away, but it’s up to the WordPress community: https://developer.wordpress.com/calypso/

    Hello,

I have no expertise of tech, site-making and anything like that, so my doubts come from curiosity.

Something I’d really like to understand:
If there are 2 working interfaces, and one makes one kind of users satisfied while the other makes another kind of users satisfied, what can be the need to 1) made it tiresome to reach 2) made it very hard to reach (as it is now) one of the two?

I mean… the old interface and dashboard work perfectly, and I am sure a certain kind of users will keep preferring them: why prevent this?
Also, why not show both interfaces to new users, and have them choose?

Maybe they pick 1 when on mobile, and the other 1 if on desktop?

    Why hide one?
