Why do some followers/users receive emails when I post while others don't?
-
I only have one follower because I made my blog private, and I invited her. She is not receiving email notifications whenever I post, despite checking her spam filter and updating her settings on WordPress. What else could be the problem?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If she has a WordPress.com username account then please provide it.
If she does not then post he email address and the software will redact (hide) it but Staff will be able to see it. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. -

Sorry for the delay in my response. Migraine.
I believe she has a WordPress account. Her username is whitty2382. If that doesn’t pull anything up, her email address is [email removed]. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
Thank you both for quick assistance with this matter.

I can confirm that she’s a blog follower: https://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/?blog=51058043&blog_subscribers&unit=1
Please make sure her delivery settings are correctly set. You can adjust this at https://wordpress.com/?ssl=forced#!/settings/subs-delivery/

We checked these settings, and they were already enabled. I sent a couple of test posts just to see if she would get an email, and she still isn’t. She isn’t getting anything in her spam folder either.

Okay, we think we discovered the problem. We’re having a “duh” moment. She used a different email account than she remembered to set things up. The notifications were being sent to her “junk” email account which she never uses. However, she still only received one notification. We switched her account over to her main email, and we are hoping the notifications will start going through normally.
Thanks for your help!
