Why do some people receive a notice and some don't?

I am having a difficult time. People signed up two ways – one with my invite and the other by typing in my URL. The people who received the invite are receiving a notice saying I have posted those who signed up with the URL are not receiving a notice. Is there some way they can be notified by e-mail that I have posted. I am so frustrated right now as so many people cannot access the blog. Thank you for your help.

I would have them check their spam folder or make sure they have confirmed the request you sent them to follow your blog.
