Why do the links on my blog-roll not appear

  Hi all- hope this messages reaches you in good health.

  So I changed my theme into “Fleur De Lys” ( http://islamindeks.wordpress.com ) and am experiencing difficulties with posting links. I mean am able to add links in my control panel, it’s just that don’t appear on the blog itself.

  So what’s a blogger to do?

  Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance.

  You need to put the Links widget in the sidebar.

  Uh… I remember reading about widgets before but I’m not quite sure I understand what it is. Are they “enabling” functions or…?

  And how would I go about that?

  To add the links widget – or any other widget – go to appearance > widgets and click the “add” link on the widget you wish to add making sure to click “save changes” after adding it.

  A search for “widgets” in the support page brings up a list of widget topics: http://support.wordpress.com/?s=widgets .

  Thanks for the instructions- the links are showing now. These widgets are quite pracitical.

  I’d like to thank everyone on this forum that help out and make blogging easier for people- but in particular I’d like to thank Raincoaster and the Thesacredpath for practically always being ready with helpful answers.

  I’m sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say you’re much appreciated on this forum (y).
