Why do the six most recent images I posted have "comments closed"?

  Hi WP,

  I posted six images today (Feb 1) at my site (as six separate posts) and one can leave comments at each of the six posts but for some reason if you click on the image and then wish to leave a comment below the image it says “comments closed”. I can’t figure out how the comments became disabled for these six images.

  In my discussion settings I’ve checked enable comments and allow pingbacks, as usual.

  Do you know how to enable comments

  When I trash my six files and reload them they go back up with comments enabled.
  Must’ve been some sort of glitch that I fixed by reloading ’em.
