Why do you forward my blog entries without paragraph spacing?

You are forwarding my blog entries to Goodreads. Why do they appear on that site without paragraph separations? They have a separation on my blog page with you. (I hope you do not say I need to double space on my pages with you, which would look quite clumsy.) A second choice would be for your transmission to indent each paragraph. What can you do to make my blog on Goodreads more readable?

    Hi there,

Can you point me to the URL of your GoodReads page so I can see this in action?

See the new entry called The Casual Vacancy on my WordPress blog, A Literary Cavalcade.

It appears with both a paragraph separation and an indentation (which I left on this time) for each paragraph. But on Goodreads there are no indentations, which I prefer, and no paragraph spacing.

Sorry, I now realize I cut and pasted from a Word document, not from WordPress. So this has nothing to do with WordPress, it seems.

    Paste had para indentations only.

Am confused because Goodreads has lately had two entries for each of my blogs, and I had thought one might have come from WordPress. Would you know anything about that? Godreads, however, is not offered by WordPress for sharing.

    Hi there,

I’m not aware of a Goodreads integration that automatically shares WordPress.com blogs to your Goodreads account. Perhaps this is a setting at Goodreads that automatically imports posts from a certain blog? If you could link me to your Goodreads account, I’m happy to take a look and see what I can figure out!
