why do you write to me using the wrong email address?
-
wordpress keep writing to the wrong email address and I can not see where you have the wrong address in my settings, profile etc
my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
my OLD email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
where is this OLD email address? I can not find any trace of it to be able to delete it
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
you have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
Try changing it at http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ first.
If that doesn’t work, try Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.

Hi there,
It is attached to your other user account; philipjava. You can log into that account and change the email address, but keep in mind you can only use an email address with one user account.
Just let me know if you have any questions or run into any problems!

Yes, I had forgotten that you only allow one email per account so I used the old one as a secondary address but it somehow became the address you and others wrote to
I have now invented a new address and removed the old one
thanks again for you help
