Why does´t my "repointing" work?

I built my website storiesbystina.wordpress.com and now I bought the domain stuffbystina.se and pointed my website to that adress instead. But it didm´t seem to work. What did I do wrong? Regards Kristina

It seem like everything is working fine with your custom domain now. I visited stuffbystina.se and see your WordPress.com site.
It can take up to 72-hours for new domains and changes to DNS settings to work online. I believe that’s why you were seeing the error.

Hello again and thank you! Sorry, I didn´t describe my problem very well. Yes , the “repointing” did work but the problem is that I already finished a webpage (did that when I had the adress storiesbystina.wordpress.com), that now is gone. Instead there is a “from-scratch-page”. How can I get it back? Regards Kristina

I see the problem:
http://stuffbystina.se/ links to an unfinished self-hosted site. It is not pointing to your WordPress.com blog. It appears as if you changed your nameservers with your domain registrar, but those adjustments have not yet taken effect. Once that process is complete, your WordPress.com site (storiesbystina.wordpress.com) will be visible when you go to stuffbystina.se.
You will know the process is complete when you visit this page and see ns1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com where your nameservers are listed:
http://who.is/whois/stuffbystina.se
In the meantime, I’ve made your WordPress.com site name “primary” again so it is visible and accessible. When your custom domain’s nameservers are changed, you should make stuffbystina.se your primary domain again. You can do that here:

I contacted my web hotel One.com and the only way, according to them, to make my website work is to load my website drown and install it on their server. I did that, it works, but my theme Spun isn´t there. My question now is, how can i download it?

Are you referring to a self-hosted site? If you’re using an outside webhost, you’re probably running a self-hosted (WordPress.org) site. If that’s the case, I can’t be a great deal of assistance.

Because your site is self-hosted with a different provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.
