Why does a link icon appear next to the title of my blog

  I’ve noticed that next to the title of the blog there appears an icon – a link. What is this? I think I might have added it by mistake? Or was it there all along? I don’t know anymore! If I put the cursor on it, it says – ‘edit post URL’ (???) And if I left click on that I just get a link to my own blog and that specific post. I can’t seem to get rid of it. Should I be trying to? Is it normal that it’s there?

  This link is only visible to you when you’re logged in with your WordPress.com account. It’s a quick way to edit a post while browsing your site.
