Why does a photo put in my blog when double-clicked display like it does

When I include photos into my blog, and then a reader double-clicks to enlarge, it displays as though it is a post with a title of the image number . It didn’t always do this but has for a few months and I just haven’t checked into it. It used to just show the photo itself enlarged. This is what displays in the title of what looks like a post.

I could do a screenshot as an attachment if it would help…
Sometimes if readers go here they leave a comment in that space and not on the original post….. Confusing ??? Thanks DianeThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Diane! You can change that setting. Simply follow these steps:
- Click Posts → All Posts, and open your latest post, To Greet the Day.
- In the editor, click ONCE on the first image in your post.
- Two small buttons will appear — a pencil and an X. Click the pencil.
- Where it says “Link to” — change the setting to Media File.
- Click Update.
- Then go back to your site in your browser, refresh the window, and click on the image.

It definitely worked… but I had to do it again with the other picture also. Do I have to do this every time or is there somewhere to make this a permanent option…. Diane

Diane, You will have to choose that option whenever you insert the image, but once you insert it, you won’t have to go back and repeat the process. So, it’s just one extra click while you’re adding media to your posts and pages. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much and happy blogging!
