Why does a 'Praveen Patel' come up as the author when I post my blog on Facebook

  When we post our blog post to Facebook – Praveen Patel comes up as the author – he has nothing to do with our organisation or blog – how do we resolve this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  When a facebook post says “By ______” what gets inserted in that blank comes in a roundabout way. But the basics of it is that it comes from the site you have in your post’s author’s public profile. The website in your user’s public profile is this:

  http://www.thelowry.com/

  I ran that through Facebook’s Object Debugger and that should only use the most current content going forward on Facebook. I don’t see ‘Praveen Patel’ in that web address’s source code, so now that we’ve rescraped I wouldn’t expect to see Praveen Patel mentioned in the By line of your next post.

  Please let me know if it comes up again on your next post.

  Hi, thanks, yes your debugger/rescrape solution looks like it resolves it (I ran it through myself) however it is still showing up. There are quite a few WP members having this issue so I would suggest that you need to log this with Facebook. There is another forum on here talking about this issue.
