Why does Blogger allow aweber opt-in forms and WordPress not?
-
I run blogs on different platforms. Putting an a-weber opt-in form to offer my readers free content is easy as pie on Blogger. Why does WordPress have this so called security issue with opt-ins? Doesn’t make much sense to me and I’ll have to move my Happywomen blog to Blogger. I know upgrading to wordpress.org is an option but not for me, as a visually impaired person dealing with html is NOT an option.
Anybody have a solution? -
It is possible to do all kinds of mischief with maliciously engineered forms. That’s why they’re disabled by default. I checked
A-Weber’s FAQ if they allow to link to a signup form hosted by them, but couldn’t find anything. I’m sorry that this a deal breaker for you. -
Thank you for replying. I’m sorry too because I really liked working with WordPress. However, future posts can be found at
