Why does doesn't my site show on search engines
-
My web site doesn’t show on any search engine, even if type in the domain name. I have ticked the box in settings to allow search engines to index my pages. I signed into google webmaster and it shows the pages are indexed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
I googled for ‘site:martrpphotography.wordpress.com’ and got some results. This means that your site is being indexed. Try that query (without the ‘) yourself!
-
you have what looks like one Page with some sort of slide show – while your site is indexed with 12 items – getting to the top of the heap of millions of photo sites with search engines can be a bit of a problem with one small slide show.
You need to add more Posts – also fix the image sizes for web use – down around 100kb max – large file sizes and slow loading sites don’t search well
-
PS – you don’t have a contact page either – so folks will be turned off by not finding a contact page and using the amateur method of needing to leave a comment – most people will just skip things

Your blog may be broken and I`ve tagged this thread for Staff support http://ismyblogworking.com/martrpphotography.wordpress.com

@TT – one About Page and No Posts will have a broken RSS feed until they make a Post
Is that what you are referring to?

@captnmike, you’re right about the RSS feed. Without any posts that won’t show.
The site is all working normally from what I see. I also see 18 results for it in Google here.
@martrpphotos if you’re curious about how search engines view your site you can add the webmaster tools various engines provide. Those will give you more insight in to how your site is indexed.
