why does Edit word appear on published post?

  Hi
  I am using Libretto.
  Why does Edit still appear on published posts? I’ve successfully connected my recent post to FB. When I clicked on the WordPress link to read the post, I can still see Edit. When I clicked on Edit, I could access my blog. Is it because it allows me into my blog as me rather than as the public?

  Confused. Please help.

  That’s correct. When you are signed in to WordPress.com and you view your own site, it gives you an edit link in case you need to change or update something. No one else sees those links :)
