Why does Header in them always ask for crop and cut half my image off?

  In Header for Theme no matter what image and size or format I upliad it goes to crop and cuts off a third of my image and it cannot be cropped to fit.

  We don’t resize the image because otherwise it will be stretched and out of proportions. That’s why we only crop it. The theme’s header image size is 1000 by 288 (width, height) , make sure your image is that size before you upload it. You can change the image size with image editing software.
