Why does HTLM code not work?

    I tried adding a widget to my website but it does not work.
    When i tried the same thing on weebly.com (another website creator) it worked perfectly.
    Here is the code for refrence.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    I do not see the code in your post which most likely means it was auto-stripped due to not being supported on our platform. May I ask what you are attempting to embed? Some HTML embed code will not work because we do not allow certain tags on WordPress.com for security reasons, including JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags.

    These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code.
