WHy does import from typepad not work?

    I could be wrong about the structure problems, it just didn’t look right to me, but I don’t have my own Typepad blog to compare.

    Did you have any luck changing the extension to .xml? If it doesn’t work, we can always empty the blog and try again.

    It seems to have worked. I got posts and tons of comments imported. So it looks good. I’d recommend that you in support gets à collection of example blogg to compare with when an import fails so you can verify if the file looks similar to one tjat has imported correctly before.
