Why does it appear 'sITUL MEU', instead of 'Site-ul meu'? I'm Romanian.
-
Instead of ‘My site’ I see ‘mY SITE’, translated in Romanian, of course. There is no such word as ‘situl’ in the Romanian dictionary or ‘sit’ as a web site. We use the English term, or at least so it should be. This error has been a bug for quite some time and I finally decided to tell you about it. Hope you can get it fixed, it’s not hard at all.

Hi @rodicabrudea, where are you seeing this?
I can see the Romanian translation is not yet complete, but I don’t see this particular string. Can you send a screenshot? You can upload to Cloudup.com or another service, then attach a link to this thread.
Also, for what it’s worth, you can help translate if here if you’d like:

It’s on WeTransfer and it will be deleted on 10/31.
I used Paint to surround the text and added some description. It should be clear. Thank you very much for responding.

Hi. I think the proper translation should be “Site-ul meu”, but I’m not a linguist. “ul” is the definite article for “site”, which means the exact same thing as in English. We adopt many English words and do not translate them. “meu” means “my”. I also capitalized the word “site” to “Site” since it’s at the beginning of the phrase. I couldn’t find any connections in the Romanian dictionary between “web site” and “sit”.

Any translation is better than “sITUL MEU”. It’s a typo, due to CAPS LOCK. We use the Latin alphabet too, with almost the same upper and lower cases. I stick with “Site-ul meu”. The other choice would be “Situl meu”, but I don’t like how it sounds. Please change the current translation because, as I said, it’s just a typo.
