why does it get counted as a hit when i visit my own site?

  it didn’t do this when i started my site long ago but now it does count as a ‘hit’ when i visit my own site…so the visits to my site number is way skewed…is there a way to (hopefully easily) fix this?

  Hi there,

  Please note that your views are not counted in your stats. It may have just been a coincidence. I do see some spurts on Friday and Monday, but I can’t confirm that it was from your computer.

  If you go view all your posts now are they showing up in your stat count? Please note that it is not in real-time. It can take a couple hours to completely be up to date.
