Why does it say "Leave a comment" on my homepage?

  When my blog is displaying an individual post, the text I chose for a Comment Form prompt is displayed. But on my homepage where multiple post are showing, there is a button that says “Leave a comment” instead. Can I change this?

  Oh, maybe this is a feature of my chosen theme that can’t be changed?
