Why does my avatar appear so huge?

  I uploaded my photo and another one. Why do they appear so huge? Do people who read my blog have to scroll down these two huge photos?

  Suffice to say that Gravatars are only large when they are on a gravatar profile page. http://en.gravatar.com/vimalaji

  They will be much smaller ie. this size http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/d6bf8f86ea26bf8db44976fce1f90c38?s=48&d=identicon&r=g and the blog.
