Why does my blog display someone else's info?

Why does my First Night Design blog display someone else’s About info when shared via the publish settings to Paper Li? Is it a WordPress problem or a Paper Li problem? I shows a completely different paragraph as if the blog has been hacked. Help, please!

This is what I see on the first line of your About page on your blog:
Kissing on the Chaise-Longue Valentine iPad Mini Case by FirstNightDesignHello!

It’s when it’s shared via feed to Paper.li that it shows some other info. Shows fine on actual blog.

I’d definitely call that a paper.li problem, it looks like something is stuck in their cache. I can’t see the offending text in your source code, which is what paper.li should be looking through.
Have you contacted them about this?
-
Thank you for coming back to me. I wasn’t sure where the problem lay and tried you first! Interestingly, it didn’t happen today when it fed through to paper.li. Typical
However, another thing that often happens, whether on paper.li or in the reader, is that it picks the end image (my signature) rather than the first image on the post. Is there anything to solve this?
Thanks again,
Sarah

It’s good to hear that it’s working properly now. If it ever happens again, I recommend contacting paper.li ASAP.
As for the image, they choose the image based on a set of parameters. It’s possible that the signature image just matched their parameters more closely.
-
Thank you. Yes, I certainly will contact them. Do you know the parameters because I hate it when it shows my signature in the Reader! You say ‘their’ as if this is also a paper.li problem but it’s your own Reader that also shows it. Sorry for going on a bit!

For the Reader, are you setting the image as your Featured Image?
If not, can you give me the link to a post which has this problem?
-
I’ve no idea how to set a particular image as Featured so no! I can’t give you a link because it doesn’t show on the blog itself. You would have to explore my posts in WordPress to see where it happens. I shall definitely be searching the forum/help to find out how make something a featured image!
-
You can set a Featured Image following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
