Why does my Blog domain no longer exist?

This morning I had a blog raynorweb.wordpress.com. I made a post a week ago and looked at it this morning, then went to make a new post. Clicked ‘Publish’ and then went to look at it and got this.

https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=raynorweb
Which just says raynorweb.wordpress.com doesn’t exist.

Well I’ve fiddled around a little more and can’t figure out what’s wrong. My dashboard still lets me login and publish blog posts. I just tried it again and it said it published to https://raynorweb.wordpress.com/why-did-it-die and yet when I go there, it says the domain does not exist. What happened?

this happened to me today as well. I have no idea/insight- thought it may be a plug in issue. wanted to follow this post in the event someone had an answer and will post if i discover fix.

Well sorry to hear that happened to you too, but glad it’s not just me. Hopefully it’s just something on the backend that can be fixed.

@raynorweb – I’ve tagged this for Staff attention. There have been a few such reports of this recently.

@solschan – you haven’t provided a link to the site you need help with and since we can’t install 3rd party plugins on WordPressdotcom sites, it sounds like you might be talking about a self-hosted install of the WP software.

staff-ozmodiar – i appreciate any help you can give me. I’m using wordpress for course websites, this one- http://experimentalmilkshake.wordpress.com is a site that I can’t have down. wondering if I have to start from scratch or what would have caused the issue.

I have the same problem. It has been going on the entire weekend, and I was hoping that it would solve itself, but it didn’t. I would appreciate it a lot, if anyone could help.
