Why does my blog not come up when I do a search on its Title?

    Why doesn’t my blog “Archaeology in Tennessee” show up when I do a Google search for it. This is the only archaeology blog in Tennessee—so I ain’t got no competition nudging me out in a search engine? It should come right up first at the top of my search list. Do I need to adjust some setting on WordPress?

    Your blog is new. An archaeologist should know, nothing is discovered immediately; these things take time. The more you blog, the faster your blog will be indexed by search engines, but they don’t generally list brand-new blogs, because they are interested in content, and you haven’t got much. Add more and you’ll get ranked, and then ranked higher.
