Why does my blog not display?

  My blog (www.gingerandolives) won’t display at all. I tried different computers, browers and cleared cookies and cache.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The domain gingerandolives.com is linked to your WordPress.com site with a domain mapping upgrade, but that domain isn’t currently pointed to WordPress.com. To point the domain to WordPress.com, you’ll need to update the domain’s name servers to these:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you’re not sure how, your domain registrar (GoDaddy) can help with that step.

  Pointing the domain to WordPress.com will make your WordPress.com site appear when someone visits your domain. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

  Many thanks for your reply!
  I’m wondering how this happened though? I bought the domain about a year ago and asked my boyfriend to set everything up for me. Everything was working fine until now :(

  (I’ll ask him to check this tomorrow – I’m absolutely hopeless when it comes to things like that, I’d do more damage than good!)

  You’re welcome! It’s hard to say how that happened — those settings are controlled by your domain registrar (where you bought the domain) rather than on our end, so you’ll need to check with them to find out why it changed.

  GoDaddy also has a guide to setting name servers for your domain that should help for pointing the domain back to WordPress.com.
