Why does my blog redirect to my regular website?
-
I have a problem. Everytime I go to my blog, it redirects to my regular website. I have canceled my domain mapping, and I am have not done this through my regular web hosting company. I think it’s just “remembering” something I’ve done in the past. Something needs to be reset, I think.
Thank you,
Shae

I checked http://tevyehfarm.wordpress.com/ and it is deleted. Is that the blog you are trying to access? What is your end goal?
Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and let me know if that fixes the problem for you? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache

I have been working on this for a solid two days. Yes, I deleted the blog because it kept redirecting to my website instead of to the blog. (first I tried deleting the domain mapping upgrade and that didn’t work either).
Now I have a new question. I started a new blog account…justchewingthecud.com and then also added back in tevyehfarm.com, which is being mapped from bluehost where that domain is registered. but now, no matter which blog is set to be the primary, I can only view the justchewingthecud blog. I don’t understand. If I make the chewingthecud blog primary, and then try to type in the webaddress for the other, it just redirects to chewingthecud. If i make the tevyeh blog primary, and then type in the tevyeh address, it doesn’t redirect, but the content is for chewingthecud.
My goal is to have two blogs, one with function as a website and the other as a blog. I planned to have links within them so people can easily navigate, but I need them to be able to access either one independently by typing in the web address.

I realized the problem. I had accidentally added the domain mapping for tevyehfarm to the chewingthecud blog. Okay, so I deleted that and added it to the correct blog. But it’s still doing the same thing, almost like it has a “memory”.

okay, now it seems to have adjusted to the change, because it’s not redirecting anymore.. It’s just giving this error when ever I type in the tevyehfarm.com It *should* go to my tevyehdairygoat.wordpress.com blog.
mysql error: [1146: Table ‘tevyehfa_cnc1.ComposerTypes’ doesn’t exist] in EXECUTE(“select * from ComposerTypes where ctID = ‘3’”)
BTW, it’s saying my tevyehdairygoat.wordpress.com blog doesn’t exist either, probably because it is supposed to be mapping to tevyehfarm.com

http://tevyehfarm.com/ is directing properly to tevyehdairygoats.wordpress.com.
It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.

If it has been less that 72 hours since you edited the domain, that’s normal as it makes its way through your ISP’s various DNS caches.
