Why does my blog say it was posted by editor?

I published a new blog today under the title ‘Extended Network.’ I realized I forgot to add hashtags so I went back to edit it, but it was no longer listed under my name. It now says ‘by editor.’ I’m not sure how to fix this. :( Can you help me?

Don’t know about the Blue Death Editor – but in the classic editor from your Dashboard – just edit the Post / Page and page down to almost the bottom and change the Author – should be a dropdown with the different names that can post on your site shown

Hmm maybe I’m missing something. When you say edit the post/page you mean the blog I just posted? If so, it won’t let me access it in editor mode – only as a viewer. It’s as if it wasn’t posted by me at all.

I don’t see any credits for the linked blog – what is the exact Post you have the question about? I see several Posts from today
Also you need to be logged in as a user with editing rights to be able to edit a Post / Page – might you have used a different account or computer to write the Post?

So that blog is a compilation of blogs by a bunch of interns. I’m thinking one of the supervisors may have an editors account for the page and may have accessed my post using that – and forgot to change the author back.

I own a blog for some friends – they are retired and use it to keep their friends updated on their sailing travels – they email me the post & pictures and from time to time I forget to change the name from mine to “steve & judy” –
