Why does my dashboard CSS not load?
-
In my website’s dashboard, the CSS does not load. Even this support page isn’t loading the CSS styles. I have been looking into forums and can’t seem to fix the problem myself – by clearing cookies, changing from Firefox to Safari or Chrome or anything.
I was lead to this forum about a similar problem… :http://blog.ftwr.co.uk/archives/2009/09/29/missing-dashboard-css-and-the-perils-of-smart-quotes/
So maybe it’s in there somewhere. I don’t have full custom design access so I can’t do much to it. I figured support has come across this problem before, I just don’t know why it has suddenly started happening recently. (Although maybe I upgraded to a newer Firefox? That was a while ago now though)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems it’s the new Firefox – according to the thread directly below mine. Similarly, I can’t access the code to change it.

Howdy,
Could you please make sure you’re not blocking the CSS from loading?
It’s possible that it’s being blocked by your firewall.
Could you try visiting the following URLs, and let me know if they’re loading for you?
http://s0.wp.com/
http://s1.wp.com/
http://s2.wp.com/

Do you have any luck if you check or uncheck “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages” at Users -> Personal Settings?

Hmmm, yes. Now the Dashboard is fine, but trying to load ScottSandwich.com doesn’t seem to work at all!

What do you see when you try to load ScottSandwich.com?
Could you make sure you have third-party cookies enabled on your browser?
Do you have an extensions or add-ons in Firefox?

Aaah, so after I changed the “Always Use HTTPS” site, I hadn’t cleared my cache and temporary files. Everything seems more like in working order now!
Thanks so much for all your help!!
