Why does my first post stay at the top of my blog?
-
My first post is marked “sticky,” and I think that’s why it is staying at the top of my blog instead of showing the most recent post first. How do I get rid of this “sticky” designation? If that’s not the reason, then how do I fix this? In my other blog, the latest post is always the top post, and that’s what I want.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi whatmeread,
Go to My Sites and click on Blog Posts. Click Edit on the post you want to unstick. In the upper right hand corner under the blue navigation bar there is a set of icons. The banner icon is the Sticky icon, so give it a click, click update, and see if that does the trick.
You can also click on “Published” on the top left sidebar of the post editor and click on the Stick to the Front Page switch to stick or unstick the post. Remember to click update before you leave the editor.
Here’s a support doc that explains post visibility too: https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/
