Why does my gravatar link?

  I’m using this code in a text widget:

  <img src="http://en.gravatar.com/avatar/2b770a5ebb78201510daa38398d816e1?s=128&r=any&time=43269020">

  But it links to a gravatar page. How do I avoid this?

  That is the “Hovercard” functionality added by Gravatar itself. I believe you can turn it off at Gravatar.com but I thought there was also a way to turn it off on the dashboard: can’t seem to find it though.

  Oh, you can work around this if you just upload the image here and use the link to that file in your text widget.
