Why does my gravator display as a red x when I share my wordpress blog post?
-
When I post a link to my latest wordpress blog post in LinkedIn, I see my gravatar when I first hit ‘share’ along with my title, but then when I hit share again to complete the post, the gravatar is replaced with the little box around a red x, which usually means the picture can’t be found….but it found it on the first step…

That sounds like something must be wrong over on LinkedIn’s end.
Do you know what the URL is that LinkedIn is attempting to pull the image from?

macmanx, I believe this is the HTML:
<img src=”http://media01.linkedin.com/media-proxy/ext?w=80&h=100&hash=gbzI9ZoKe0Q%2FsEHkHAJSgifqSdE%3D&url=http%3A%2F%2F0.gravatar.com%2Favatar%2Feac9273ebf29ab699f5d4bcead8a1e95%3Fs%3D60%26d%3Didenticon%26r%3DG” />

From the main Gravatar page, go to My Account -> Manage my Gravatars.
At this page, you should see your two gravatars at the bottom. Hover over one, and the letter rating will appear to the right. Click this letter to adjust the rating.
