Why does my post always automatically schedule even though i set it to post imme
-
diately.
Whenever i post on my laptop, i click publish immediately but it schedules it at the exact time or date i clicked published and then doesnt do anything. I’ve tried resetting my laptop time and date and they’re all correct. I used to be able to find the post in my schedules posts list and click ‘publish immediately’ but today I cant find that button! Help!

Dear chouxsy,
First of all, I think there might be an issue with the default time zone setting in your blog. Please check whether the time zone of your blog is the same as your area/country by checking for the same. You can find the timezone of your blog in the Settings->General menu. If there’s a timezone mismatch, that could be the reason why your posts are getting automatically scheduled. Fixing this should solve your issue.
As for the ‘publish immediately’ option, it is located on the right of your post editor screen – which I believe, currently displays a scheduled date of the post, as you have said.
You may want to check the WordPress codex article on post-scheduling too. Here’s the link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/
Do let me know if the suggestions fail to solve your issue.
Cheers!
Hari.
