Why does my post disappear when I make it a sticky and add a featured image?

    I make a post and set it to public and click the sticky box as well. I also add a featured image but, the post is not visible on my homepage? Is that supposed to happen or am I incorrectly setting this up? I am VERY new to word press and having difficulty navigating through everything.

    Could you send me a link to the post you’re referring to?

    You’ll also want to make sure you have your front page set to display recent posts at Settings -> Reading in your dashboard.
