Why does my post not get uploaded

I see a post from the 15th. Have you made others since then? Are they visible on your Dashboard Posts page? What are their URLs?

I have been ‘refreshing’ a post since yesterday and it won’t upload. I am getting to the stage of looking at a different blog provider..

I have been trying to popst an image since yesterday. It does not show up in my dashboard so no URLs. I have no idea what else I can tell you.

Is it in your Media Library? Are you making a standard post format or an image post (in the post format settings on the right-hand side)? What browser and version are you using? Are you posting from an iPad?

I was trying to post as I normally do. I have not been doing this long so I don’t play with the settings. The settings are the same as they have always been. I always post from my mobile phone and the post has just been uploaded. Very frustrating as it has taken since yesterday mid-afternoon.

We’re seeing a lot of reports that posts made from mobile devices are vanishing, but I’ve lost two myself that were made on my laptop. They were in my Dashboard Posts page, though, and I was able to Edit them and they published.
I flagged this for staff attention, so all I can suggest is wait and see what they say.

Were you using one of the WordPress apps? If so, which app (and version of) were you using?

I am using WordPress for Android version 2.2.7. It is always the same app..
The post has been uploaded but they are starting to take more than 24 hours to get there…. -

I am not sure as to how to do that. I am not going to use wordpress if I cannot use it from an app supplied. I will just change to another base.

Just head to http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ on your phone and publish a new post (when you’re ready to write/publish a new post of course).
We’re just doing this to see if the app is the problem. If every Android app user had to wait 24 hours for their post to publish, we’d have a lot more than just your report, so we need to start ruling-out potential causes.

Macmanx, I posted a test from where you suggested and it went straight therough. I guess there is a problem with the app. Thanks for the tip.

Excellent, at least it’s specific to the app.
For the app, please try completely deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that will clear the cobwebs out, and the next post will go through smoothly.
